A little about me…

My name is Steven Holdsworth. I’m a Software Developer from Belfast Northern Ireland. 

I’ve worked on numerous greenfield & brownfield enterprise systems over the years. I made the decision to go down the path of contracting when I graduated, with the goal of getting exposed to a wide range of domains, which turned out to be a lot of fun and a great experience. I’ve been fortunate enough to be working on interesting and progressive projects, mainly orientated around .NET development.

The projects I have worked on range from high end home multimedia system architectures and UIs to high performance financial systems which leverage Complex Event Processing and progressive architectures such as CQRS.

I’m not a 9-5 developer, I can frequently be found hacking on prototypes and working on open source projects in my free time, as well as attending / organising community events in my native Nothern Ireland and all over Europe.

I also enjoy good coffee and photography.
